Yes. I will provide a 10 minute free phone consultation.
The first session is approximately 2 hours
long. It's considered a "conditioning" session where we talk
a great deal, and I ask key questions. During this initial
“chatting”, I get to determine your "suggestibility" which
helps me structure our work. In addition, I always
spend time explaining in detail why the phenomenon of hypnosis
works.
After the first session, all remaining sessions are 75 minutes. Each
session begins with talking, prior to the hypnotic induction
which runs about 20-25 minutes. – Sessions are structured
to your specific issues; and I always take notes because
language, and “specificity” is key.
Yes. Under hypnosis, you cannot be made to do anything
you would not normally do. While in a trance: you
are always aware; you hear everything; and you are in
control. At any time, during the process, you may sit
up and say, "Carrie, I'd like a glass of water, etc".
Nobody can be made to do anything that they would not normally
do, and I'll explain that in more detail when I meet you.
Upon the initial consultation, I am able to give an estimate
of how many sessions may be required, depending on the issue
and the client’s history. For instance, I have
successfully helped many people overcome fear of public speaking
(a top fear btw) in anywhere from 2 – 7 sessions – it totally
depends on the person…The best way to reap maximum results
is by committing to a series of sessions,
i.e. a commitment of anywhere between 5 - 8 sessions for
maximum benefit. This is the absolute best way
to go. When clients depart therapy prematurely,
they have not given the process a chance to work, and therefore,
they do not reap the valuable benefits.
Smoking cessation is accomplished in 3 sessions, over 3 consecutive
weeks, however, I always insist on a (free) 15 minute phone
interview prior to booking smoking cessation sessions. At
that time, I evaluate whether you are indeed a good candidate
and are ready to quit. The fee to quit smoking is a
flat $550.00 paid in full up front and non-refundable.
My success rate is approximately 86%. An individual must
be ready to quit.
In most cases YES. Once an individual overcomes
let’s say, fear of public speaking, that fear does not come
back. With most issues, that’s the case. Clients
often return to work with me on new issues, OR sometimes, they
just need a “tune up”. Hypnosis and all techniques
that I teach each client, work like compound interest – the
benefits just keep expanding.
Basically yes. Some people are definitely more
suggestible than others, however, if you have experienced being
in love, then you can be hypnotized. Being “suggestible” simply
means that you are
easily influenced…..Virtually everyone is easily influenced
when “in love”.
In addition, if you’ve ever driven home and not recalled the
freeway exit, THAT is a hypnotic trance! So yes,
everyone can be hypnotized. The truth is that everyone
goes in and out of a hypnotic state all day long. The
depth varies with each individual.
